EMDR Basic Training – In Person 2026

EMDR Resource Center’s Basic Training in EMDR therapy offers a comprehensive, EMDRIA-approved learning experience designed to help clinicians understand, integrate, and apply EMDR therapy with greater confidence.

This in-person training is held in Salem, Oregon at North West Human Services and is offered as one complete training across four 2-day modules. Each module includes didactic instruction, supervised practice, and consultation.

You must attend all training days and participate in supervised practice and group consultation to receive CE credits and documentation of completion.

There are two required texts for this training. Pre-reading assignments will be sent before the first module.

EMDR Basic Training - Virtual Fall 2026

EMDR Resource Center’s Basic Training in EMDR therapy provides a comprehensive learning experience delivered in a clear and accessible way so that you can absorb, digest, and immediately apply EMDR therapy in your practice.

You must attend all training days and actively participate in all supervised practice exercises and group consultation sessions to earn CE credits and receive documentation of completion for this training.

There are two required texts you will need to purchase for this training. Pre-reading assignments for the parts of the text you will need to have completed before the first day of training will be sent out 2 weeks before training begins.

Wendy Sue Horn

A seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults, with expertise in EMDR therapy, trauma, dissociation, anxiety disorders, and parent support. An EMDRIA-approved trainer and consultant, she has spent more than a decade mentoring therapists in trauma and EMDR. She also teaches adoption-competent trauma training for clinicians through a program offered by the Oregon Department of Human Services in collaboration with the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).
